Little Falls, NY – William “Billy” Edward Dean, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by close friends and family.
Born March 19, 1962, Billy lived a full life defined by loyal friendships, good times, and a genuine love for the people around him. He is survived by countless friends and loving cousins who will carry his memory forward. Billy will be laid to rest alongside his late parents, William and Joan, at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Little Falls.
Billy had a passion for life that showed in everything he loved: from hunting and paintball to quality-testing a good beer, enjoying a great cigar, and losing himself in music that ranged from Pink Floyd to heavy metal. He gave back to his community through his involvement in the youth program at the Berkshire Farm Center, touching many young lives along the way. Some of his happiest years were spent at Mahar’s, where he built friendships that meant the world to him and that he cherished as a true highlight of his life.
In keeping with Billy’s free spirit, there will be no formal services. A celebration of life will be held on September 13, 2026, at the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club, 697 Peckville Rd, Dolgeville, NY 13329 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. All are welcome to come share in remembering Billy’s warmth, humor, and friendship.
