HERKIMER, N.Y. — Following a highly successful July that drew strong community support for its weekly food trucks and complimentary tastings, Valley Wine & Liquor is excited to announce its August Food Truck & Tastings Thursday lineup, closing out this memorable summer series.
Throughout July, the weekly events welcomed customers from across Herkimer County and the Mohawk Valley to enjoy a variety of local food trucks, complimentary wine and cocktail tastings, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Each Thursday brought new and returning visitors together while helping support local food truck vendors and creating another opportunity for neighbors to connect.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing support we’ve received this summer,” said Anthony Gorea, owner of Valley Wine & Liquor. “It’s been wonderful to see so many familiar faces, meet new customers, and watch our Thursday events continue to grow each week. We’re excited to finish the summer with another great lineup of food trucks and tastings throughout August.”
The August lineup also includes a special Back-to-School Book Giveaway on August 6. Children who visit the featured food truck that day will receive a free book while supplies last, helping families celebrate the start of a new school year while encouraging a love of reading.
August Food Truck & Tastings Thursday Schedule
August 6 – Oldies & Goodies
● Tasting: Lucky One Canned Cocktails
● Back-to-School Book Giveaway: Children who visit the food truck will receive a free book while supplies last, helping families celebrate the start of a new school year.
August 13 – Food Zone Filipino Food
● Tasting: Handcrafted Cocktails
August 20 – Motley Chew
● Tasting: Assorted Wines
August 27 – Catalina’s Spanish Cuisine
● Tasting: Carlo Rossi Sangria
All events take place on Thursdays from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Valley Wine & Liquor, 326 Mohawk Street, Herkimer. Food trucks are open to the public, and complimentary tastings are available to guests 21 years of age and older. Guests are encouraged to follow Valley Wine & Liquor on Facebook for weekly menus, event updates, and additional details throughout the month.
