Ilion – Thomas J. “Tom” Miles, age 62, passed away at his residence in Ilion, NY. Originally from Frankfort, NY. He was the son of the late Shirley (Barcus) and Dale Miles. After High School, Thomas earned an associate’s degree in human services. Thomas was well-suited for his career as a behavior specialist in the public service sector with the Rome DDSO.
Tom is survived by his children and their mother, Sharon Geer, his sister Sally Zahnizer, and her children.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, brothers Gary Miles and Donald Miles, and his brother-in-law Bruce Zahnizer.
Tom’s family will celebrate his life in a private manner.
