Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R, C-Mohawk Valley and the Adirondacks) is excited to announce he will be hosting the Annual Veterans Picnic at the Concordia Club in Gloversville on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026. Veterans and their guests are invited to attend an evening of food and camaraderie. This yearly event is a great way for community members and friends to share a meal with and say “thank you” to our courageous veterans who reside in the Mohawk Valley.
“Serving veterans who served our country is a gesture I am very proud to be a part of year after year,” said Smullen. “During my 24 years of Marine Corps service, I had the privilege of meeting and getting to know so many brave men and women on active duty. Those who make it home deserve our undying gratitude and support. I am very excited to be hosting our veterans picnic at the Concordia Club this year to say thank you to all those who served and continue to play a significant role in our community. Veterans, we thank you and hope to see you at this event.”
