Sheriff’s Office Makes Welfare Fraud Arrest

The Herkimer County Sheriff’s Office Welfare Fraud Unit, assisted by the Herkimer County Department of Social Services, recently arrested the following individual for various Welfare Fraud charges.

Darryl Price age 66 of Herkimer, NY was arrested for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree a class E Felony and Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree a class E Felony.

Price fraudulently received in excess of $ 2,900.00 worth of benefits in which she was not entitled to receive over a period of 10 months.

Price was processed on the charges and arraigned in the City of Little Falls Court. He was committed to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility without bail. He is due back in court at a later date.
