Road Work Report for the Week Beginning November 3, 2025

HERKIMER COUNTY

Village of Frankfort: (Permit) W Main Street between Cemetery Street and Mill Street. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a detour in place. East bound traffic will detour south on Cemetery Street to Route 5S east to the first exit to Ilion back to W Main Street. West bound traffic will detour from W Main Street in Ilion to Route 5S west bound to Frankfort/Cemetery Street north to W Main Street.

Village of Herkimer: (Permit) Route 28 between I-90 exit and Marginal Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures/ lane shifts in both directions with flaggers in place due to the I-90 bridge replacement work.

Village of Dolgeville: (Permit) Route 167 between Route 29 and Spencer Street. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to sanitary sewer main and lateral replacements.

Village of Dolgeville: (D#265397) Route 167 between Slawson Street and Cramer Lane. There will be a pedestrian detour to Helmer Ave. This is to facilitate work being done on a culvert at Beaver Creek. Route 167 is closed except to local traffic due to the above permit work.

Village of Herkimer: (D#265330) Route 28 between Kast Bridge Street and West End Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with temporary signals in place due to culvert replacement work.

Town of German Flatts: (D#265432) Route 5S east bound between Route 51 and Route 28. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to bridge and culvert work.

Village of Middleville: (D#265084) Route 29 between Reservoir Street and Town Garage Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place due to slope failure repair and overhead utility relocations. The detour will utilize state routes 169, 170, and 170A. The closure is expected to last 8 weeks.

ONEIDA COUNTY

City of Utica: (Permit) I-90 bridge over North Genesee Street. Motorists will encounter a detour in place for the Genesee Street south bound/Downtown Utica exit. Traffic will be detoured to use Genesee Street north bound to Riverside Drive west bound to Genesee Street south bound. This is due to the rehabilitation of the bridge over North Genesee Street. Motorists will encounter lane closures under the bridge

Village of Clinton: (D#265257) Route 12B between Robinson Road and Harding Road (Route 233), Route 412 between Franklin Ave and College Hill Road. Daily lane closures on Route 12B and Route 412 for paving operations, and the installation sidewalks and driveway aprons. Paving will be weather dependent. A long-term lane shift in both directions in the area of McDonalds will be put into place to facilitate work on the culvert for new sidewalk work. A long duration lane shift will be in place on Route 412 over the Oriskany Creek for new sidewalk work.

Village of Whitesboro: (Permit) Route 69 between Wood Road and Goodell Ave. Motorists will encounter lane closures/lane shifts in both directions due to I-90 bridge construction.

City of Rome: (Permit) Erie Blvd between James Street and George Street. Motorists will encounter a west bound lane closure on Erie Blvd for  sidewalk work.

Town of Verona: (D#265355) Route 49 between Lauther Road and Drummond Drive. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with temporary signals in place due to culvert replacement work.

Town of Western: (D#265355) Route 46 between Main Street and Gifford Hill Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with temporary signals in place due to culvert work.

City of Utica: (D#265510) Route 49/I-790 Leland Ave and the City of Utica/Town of Marcy line. Motorists will encounter a west bound shoulder closure due to sign work.

Town of Remsen: (D#265084) Culvert repair work on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad. There will be no work on the state highway.

City of Rome: (D#265510) Route 49 over Route 365. Motorists will encounter an east bound lane closure due to sign work.

City of Rome: (D#265084) Ramp from Route 49 west bound to Route 233. Motorists will encounter a bridge closure with detour in place due to bridge rail repairs. The detour will Utilize Route 26 and Route 69.

Village of Oneida Castle: (Permit) Route 365 between W 3^rd Street and W 4^th Street. Motorists will west bound lane closures due to sanitary sewer work.

Town of Boonville: (D#265530) Route 46 between Hillside Road and Holmes Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to project layout and paving operations.

Town of Sangerfield: (D#265469) Route 20 between Brothertown Road and Beaver Creek Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to ditching and the paving of driveway aprons.

City of Utica: (BIN 1079560) Route 5/8/12 between Burrstone Road and Court Street. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to the inspection of the pedestrian bridge over the North-South Arterial on Tuesday November 4^th.

City of Utica: (BIN 1054309) Route 5/8/12 between Oswego Street and Burrstone Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to the inspection of the Burrstone Road bridge over the North-South Arterial on Friday November 7^th.

MADISON COUNTY

Town of Sullivan, Village of Chittenango: (D#265331) Route 173 between Cheese Factory Road and Palmer Road. Motorists will encounter a full road closure with a signed detour in place. The detour will utilize Palmer Road, Salt Springs Road, Route 5, and Route 173.

Village of DeRuyter: (D#265469) Route 13 between Oil Mill Road and Middle Lake Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to the replacement of the ADA curb ramps, cleaning catch basins, and installation of pavement markings.

Town of Eaton: (D#265469) Route 26 between Erieville Road and School Street. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to culvert cleaning, driveway apron paving, and final pavement marking installation.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Village of St Johnsville, Town of Ephratah: (D#265417) Route 67 between Route 5 and Route 10. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to driveway paving operations, sign and guiderail installation.

Village of St Johnsville, City of Little Falls: (Permit) Route 5 between Route 67 and Snells Bush Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to utility work for National Grid.

Town of Glen: (Permit) Route 5S between Dufel Road and Shrine Road. Motorists will encounter lane and shoulder closures in both directions due to the bridge replacement of the Thruway bridge.

City of Amsterdam: (D#265416) Route 67 @ Manny Corners Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures with flaggers in place due to sidewalk pours and paving operations.

City of Amsterdam: (D#265416) Route 30 @ Tessiero Square, Hospital drive. Motorists will encounter lane closures with flaggers in place due to sidewalk pours and paving operations.

City of Amsterdam: (Permit) Route 30 between Storrie Street and Sunset Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to National Grid work.

Town of Danube, Town of Minden: (Permit) Route 5S between the Herkimer County line and Fordsbush Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to utility work for National Grid.

FULTON COUNTY

Town of Broadalbin: (D265432) Route 29 between Evans Road and Stevers Mills Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions due to bridge and culvert work.

Town of Perth: Route 30 @ County Route 107. Motorists will encounter a flagging operation at the intersection due to the installation of video detection.

Town of Caroga: (Permit) Route 29A between South Shore Road and 2^nd Ave. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to utility work.

HAMILTON COUNTY

Town of Long Lake: (D#264867) Route 28 at the South Inlet of Raquette Lake. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with the continuous use of temporary signals construction activities.

Town of Long Lake: (D#265465) Route 30 between Rice Road and the Franklin County line. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to shoulder backup and guiderail work.

Town of Long Lake: (D#265084) Culvert repair work on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad in Sabattis. There will be no work on the state highway.

Town of Arietta: (D#265181) Route 10 between Stoner Lake Road and Powley Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with temporary signals in place due to culvert replacement.

Town of Lake Pleasant: (D#265084) Route 8 between Golf Course Road and South Shore Road. Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions with flaggers in place due to closed drainage replacement.

*D#265309 Pavement Marking operations will be occurring on various routes in Fulton, Montgomery and Oneida Counties. Motorists will encounter lane closures and lane shifts with flaggers in place. All work is weather dependent.
