CAMDEN, N.Y. — Jayden Regan scored three times to lead the top-seeded Little Falls Mounties to the Section III, Class D crown with a 4-1 victory over the #2 Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks on Saturday afternoon.
It is the third consecutive section championship for Little Falls. They are now 16-2 this season.
Adriana Izzo scored the other goal for the Mounties. Mollie Regan and Breya Dillon each drew an assist.
Morrisville-Eaton scored its lone goal of the game in the fourth quarter against Mounties goalkeeper Gilliana Izzo.
The season continues for the Mounties as they will now face the Class C champion Mt. Markham Mustangs at VVS High School on Monday, with the right to advance to the NYSPHSAA Tournament on the line. Little Falls defeated Mt. Markham 6-0 and 1-0 in their two regular-season matchups.
