Utica, N.Y. — Step into a vibrant evening of music, dancing, drinks, and art inspired by the rich cultural tradition of Día de los Muertos at Munson After Dark from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Nov. 1, in the Museum’s Root Court in downtown Utica. DJ Roscoe Red will set the tone with lively beats as you enjoy a festive night filled with color, creativity, and community.
In partnership with the Catalyst Group, join Munson for an unforgettable night inspired by the rich cultural tradition of Day of the Dead, celebrating remembrance, joy, and togetherness. Costumes are encouraged, and there will be prizes for the most spirited looks! As part of the celebration, guests are invited to participate in a community ofrenda—a traditional altar honoring loved ones who have passed. Bring a photo or small memento of someone you’d like to remember and place it on the altar as a tribute to their life and legacy.
Munson After Dark is $15 for Munson Members and $20 for the general public. All attendees over 21 will receive a free drink ticket with the price of admission.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, by phone at 315-797-0055, or online at munson.art/munson-after-dark/day-of-the-dead-celebration. Student tickets are available for $10 by phone or at the door.
