Mohawk Valley Gives: Help Restore Holy Family Parish’s Historic Stonework

We are pleased to share that Holy Family Parish will once again participate in Mohawk Valley Gives during the week of September 14-18, culminating in the region’s annual day of giving on September 18.

Last year, through the extraordinary generosity and the support of our parish family and the broader community, we raised $130,995 during Mohawk Valley Gives. We are deeply grateful for the confidence our donors placed in our mission to preserve our historic church.

Those generous donations have been at work! The well-worn front exterior doors have been beautifully restored and the critically needed electrical upgrades to our historic pipe organ have been completed. The outdated electrical system serving the organ had become a significant safety hazard, and these improvements ensured its safe operation while preserving one of Holy Family’s most treasured musical and liturgical instruments. These projects enhanced both the safety and beauty of our church while protecting important elements of our parish’s heritage.

Because of your generosity, we were able to address critical preservation and safety needs. With your continued support this year, we can take the next important step by completing the restoration of the exterior stonework, thus safeguarding this sacred landmark for generations to come.

This year, our goal is to raise $175,000 to complete the restoration of the exterior stonework of our historic church. For nearly 150 years, Holy Family Parish has stood as a beacon of faith in the Mohawk Valley, welcoming generations of families to celebrate baptisms, weddings, funerals, and the Holy Eucharist. Preserving this beautiful church is about more than maintaining a building—it is about protecting a sacred place where lives are touched by God’s grace every day.
