Utica, New York — Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency (MVCAA) is inviting residents throughout the Mohawk Valley to participate in its Community Needs Survey, an important initiative designed to better understand the challenges, priorities, and opportunities facing local individuals and families.
The survey will help MVCAA gather valuable feedback from community members and use that information to guide the development of future programs, services, and resources that address the region’s most pressing needs. Community input plays a critical role in ensuring that services are responsive, effective, and reflective of the realities local residents experience every day.
“At MVCAA, our mission is rooted in helping people and strengthening communities,” said Allison Cox, Planning Director at Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency. “By sharing their experiences and perspectives, residents can directly influence how we plan for the future and ensure that our programs continue to meet the evolving needs of families in our community.”
The Community Needs Survey is anonymous and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As a thank-you for participating, respondents who complete a separate entry form at the end of the survey will have the opportunity to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
MVCAA encourages participation from residents throughout the region, regardless of whether they currently receive services from the agency. Broad community feedback will help provide a comprehensive picture of local needs and identify opportunities for improvement and investment. The information collected will be used to inform strategic planning efforts and strengthen programs that support economic stability, family well-being, and community development.
