Metotts Lead CVA Past Oneida in Boys Soccer

ILION, N.Y. — Casey and Carter Metott accounted for all of the Central Valley Academy Thunder’s goals as they defeated the Oneida Express 7-3 in Varsity Boys Soccer action on Thursday night.

Casey had four goals while Carter notched the other three. Logan Kubecka (two assists), Christian Sanchez (one assist), and Jackson Kenyon (one assist) also got on the scoresheet for the Thunder.

CVA goalkeeper Max Canipe made six saves to pick up his second win of the season.

The Thunder have won two games in a row and improved their record to 2-2. Up next, they will host VVS on Saturday morning, starting at 11:00 a.m.
