LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — Live Well Connected, Inc. hosted its first-ever four-day Summer Camp for local youth this month, marking another milestone in the organization’s growing slate of free fitness and wellness programming for area kids.
The camp is part of the nonprofit’s 2026 Healthy Futures program, which has offered dozens of free fitness, athletic, and nutrition activities to youth in the Little Falls area at no cost to families.
“This is part of their 2026 Healthy Futures program, which has been hosting dozens of free fitness, athletic, and nutrition activities completely free to local youth,” said Kelly Daukontas, owner of Live Well Connected.
The organization’s mission is straightforward: keep local youth healthy through fitness programming without any cost to participants or their families. That commitment has translated into a steadily expanding roster of programs throughout the year, including Teen Girl Lift and Teen Boy Lift strength-training sessions, Mommy & Me classes for parents and young children, and an upcoming Wrestling Camp.
Organizers say the Summer Camp is built on that same philosophy, giving kids four days of structured activity, movement, and nutrition education during the break from school — all free of charge.
Live Well Connected has become a familiar name in the Little Falls community. The Healthy Futures initiative reflects a broader push to make fitness and wellness resources accessible to families who might otherwise face cost barriers to youth athletics and health programming.
With the Summer Camp now complete, Live Well Connected is turning its attention to its next offering, the Wrestling Camp, continuing a year that has already included dozens of free sessions aimed at building healthy habits in the area’s youngest residents.
