The Little Falls Public Library is excited to announce an open-house celebration of the yearly Mohawk Valley Gives fundraising event for Mohawk Valley’s non-profit organizations and establishments, Friday, September 18th, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
The event is free and open to the general public in the library’s Community Room at the Salisbury Street side of the building. Included in the festivities will be an acoustic performance by the musicians Ari Marucci and Nick Darling from “One Day Escape” from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, along with light refreshments and info on how to contribute to the MV Gives campaign for the library as well as dozens of other worthy local and regional causes.
The Community Room is a handicapped-accessible facility.
The fifth annual Mohawk Valley Gives is a regional-expansive giving day to benefit non-profit organizations serving the Mohawk Valley. During last year’s event, communities came together and raised more than 6.5 million dollars benefiting countless regional organizations.
The valley’s non-profits promote their missions, raise unrestricted funds to support their organizational needs, and are placed in the running for prizes and incentives that are awarded throughout the fundraiser.
Donors have the opportunity to engage with causes they care about by sponsoring prizes, starting a fundraiser to share with friends, family, and colleagues, or simply making a donation to one or more participating organizations. Little Falls Public Library is honored to be part of MV Gives!
Ari Marucci and Nick Darling are accomplished and talented cornerstones of the area’s musical scene, especially in the arena of crowd-pleasing, toe-tapping rock-n-roll, known for playing bars, festivals, and events both as themselves and as elements of the group “One Day Escape”. Little Falls Public Library is proud to have them as a key part of Friday’s fundraising festivities.
