Little Falls, NY – After years of planning and nearly a year of construction, the Kucerak Event Center at MV Golf & Event Center officially opened its doors Tuesday evening, September 22, with a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration co-hosted by the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Utica Chamber.

Guests filled the patio, explored the new event venue, and toured the property while enjoying food, drinks, and the center’s recreational offerings. Inside, a series of tablescapes showed visitors the range of celebrations the new space can host, from weddings to corporate gatherings.

“It was an INCREDIBLE evening as we celebrated a milestone years in the making,” ARC Herkimer President Lorene Bass said in a statement following the event.

The two-story, nearly 8,000-square-foot facility connects directly to the existing clubhouse, allowing guests to walk from the restaurant and bar straight into the upper-level event space, which seats up to 160 people.

The lower level houses two golf simulators, a game room for cornhole, darts, arcade games, and a bridal suite.

Other features include an expanded U-shaped bar, an elevator for accessibility, an LED sign, and a fire pit overlooking Route 5.

When ground was broken in October 2025, the project was described as a year-round, multi-purpose facility, with plans to host cornhole leagues and tournaments when the space isn’t booked for events.

The multi-million-dollar project was funded primarily through philanthropy, led by the Kucerak family, for whom the new venue is named.

“Our deepest gratitude goes to Paul Kucerak III and the Kucerak Family, whose extraordinary generosity and belief in this vision will forever be part of this community and celebrations for generations,” the organization said.

MV Golf & Event Center also recognized the Babinec Family, the UpMobility Foundation, and The Community Foundation for their significant investment, along with the contractors, businesses, donors, community partners, and staff who contributed to the effort.

“This accomplishment belongs to so many,” the statement read.

Operating in support of ARC Herkimer’s mission, MV Golf & Event Center provides employment and programming for individuals with disabilities. The expansion is expected to create additional job opportunities while giving the Mohawk Valley a new premium venue for events and recreation.

Interest in the space began well before construction wrapped up, with inquiries for weddings coming in as early as the groundbreaking.

“The doors are open. The possibilities are endless. And we cannot wait to see what is celebrated here next!” the organization said.
