I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil or crayon in my hand…sometimes, as a little kid, I even drew on the walls of our house on Webster Street in Little Falls…actually, I only got away with that once!
I loved drawing my own comic books as a kid…and even drew a lot in my classrooms… when I really should have been concentrating more on what my wonderful teachers were saying.
Ironically, I became a teacher myself after a career of working in a newspaper and drawing hundreds of cartoons!
Education is so very important for kids and for grown-ups…and so is expressing ourselves in a creative way.
We never, ever stop learning… and we all have different talents.
It’s fun for me to draw funny pictures!
