FRANKFORT, N.Y. — Leigh Ferguson netted three goals to lead her Maroon Knights to a 6-4 victory over the Canastota Raiders on Wednesday.
With the win, the Maroon Knights run their record to a perfect 6-0 this season.
Frankfort-Schuyler led 3-1 at halftime. Both offenses poured it on in the second half, scoring three goals each. The Raiders ran out of time, however, as the Maroon Knights walked away with the victory.
Maryna Harrod, Ella Drennen, and AnnMarie Goodson were the other goal scorers for the Maroon Knights. Harrod and Sanita Selimovic had two assists, while Drennen and Giana McLean had one assist each.
Fiona Piermarini had one goal and two assists, and Harlie Piermarini scored a pair of goals to lead the Raiders’ offense. Kalli Congden also scored for Canastota.
Maroon Knights goalkeeper Ella Kaleta made eight saves to earn her sixth win of the season. Her counterpart, Samantha Jacobs, made 12 saves.
Frankfort-Schuyler returns to action on Saturday when they host the 5-0 Dolgeville Blue Devils.
