Frank DuRoss is a professional sports franchise owner in the United States and has owned the Maine Mariners, the Providence Bruins, and the Rochester Raging Rhinos, among others, and currently owns the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League and the Utica City Football Club.
Frank DuRoss and Robert Esche announced the formation of the Mohawk Valley Garden to oversee the complete management of the Utica Memorial Auditorium, and they recently completed the construction and opening of the Utica University NEXUS Center, a 170,000 square foot multi-use event center.
His companies also manage restaurant and concession businesses, and are currently operating the 72 Tavern and Grill, the Aqua Vino Restaurant, and Babes in Utica, NY.
His company recently completed the purchase and rehabilitation of the 5-story former Utica Children’s Museum building, which now houses The Tailor and the Cook Restaurant.
Mr. DuRoss has now turned his energies into several projects in Little Falls, NY. He has ownership in the Ivy Garden Apartments, which are set to open in the early fall of this year.
Mr. DuRoss has recently purchased the former Berkshire Bank Building and anticipates a credit union going into that space. He expects to close shortly on the Snyder Apartment building as well as the former Adirondack Bank Building (originally the Burrell Building).
He will upgrade the apartments in the Snyder building into market-rate units, with retail space on the lower level, and the Adirondack Bank offices will be converted into luxury apartments, with retail on the lower level.

Our members were also treated to an Eagle Scout presentation by Cameron Penz. Cameron’s Eagle Scout project is to take down and replace the back entrance ramp to the Elk’s Lodge.
Cameron said, “When I was young, many of my troop meetings were held at the Little Falls Elks Lodge. The Lodge has supported my Scouting journey for years, and now I have the opportunity to give something meaningful back.”

The Rotary Club of Little Falls invites the public to hear Munson CEO and President Anna D’ambrosio speak this Wed., Aug 19. Members meet at 6:00 pm, and the public is invited at 7:15 pm.

Dr. Yallowitz’s office, 513 Garden street, (the former Community Co-Op) is right there in the top right corner. It’s also not level land where you can see the road. Garden street is an incline.

Nope if you’ve been keeping up, that whole parking lot is going to be re-leveledd, resurface and stiped with the Adirondcak Bank drive-through gone. There will be 45 total parking spots there.
