LITTLE FALLS – On June 30, 2025, Style on Main by Niki Marie, hosted a successful Cut-A-Thon to support Daniel, a local resident diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).
From 6:30 to 8:00 PM, stylists offered $25 dry haircuts and $15 clipper cuts, donating all proceeds to help alleviate the financial burden faced by Daniel’s mother during this challenging time.
Daniel, who is in emergency need of a bone marrow transplant, was the heart of the event, which saw strong community turnout.
CML is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow, characterized by an excess of white blood cells. It progresses slowly but can become life-threatening if untreated.
A bone marrow transplant is a critical treatment for CML, particularly in advanced stages, as it replaces the diseased marrow with healthy stem cells from a donor, helping to restore normal blood cell production and combat the cancer.
The event, marked by a spirit of unity under the theme “Together We’re Stronger,” raised funds to support Daniel’s medical needs.
