Hamilton College’s Men’s Hockey Team is making history as the first Continentals squad in the program’s 100+ years to reach the NCAA Division III Frozen Four.
In a lively new episode of the CNY Hockey Report podcast, host Scott Kinville sits down with Head Coach Rob Haberbusch and captains Jackson Krock and Alex Danis to break down the magical season.
The trio discusses:
- The tight-knit culture and blue-collar work ethic that powered Hamilton through the rugged NESCAC gauntlet.
- Their dominant run to the national semifinals.
- The advantage of having this season’s Frozen Four just 10 miles from campus at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica (sleeping in their own beds, no travel grind).
They recap the dramatic NCAA tournament wins—including Krock’s overtime heroics against Norwich—and look ahead to Friday’s Frozen Four semifinal against Aurora.
The conversation also features fun locker-room insights: who’s the best (and worst) dancer, most likely to join WWE or a band, and more.
It’s a must-listen for any Hamilton fan or college hockey follower ahead of this historic weekend.
