LITTLE FALLS, NY – On a sun-drenched Saturday, July 19, 2025, the Central New York Elks Riders thundered through Little Falls as part of their annual motorcycle ride to support the Elks National Foundation (ENF).
The event, which drew 22 motorcycles at its second stop in Little Falls, brought together riders from across the region to raise funds for community programs while enjoying scenic routes and perfect riding weather.
Mark Pratt, Group Leader for the CNY Elks Riders, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This is our second stop. We’ve got 22 bikes so far. Hoping to have more that we pick up along the way and have the same as last year. We raise money for the Elks National Foundation, and we’re really enjoying the beautiful weather.”
The ride, which has become a cherished tradition for the Elks Riders, combines camaraderie, scenic touring, and philanthropy.
The Little Falls Elks Lodge #42, a key supporter of the event, has a storied history of community impact through the ENF. Last year, the lodge was awarded the ENF Motorcycle Ride Trophy for raising over $2,000, enabling them to meet their pledge quota and secure competitive grants.
These funds have supported local initiatives, including the Little Falls Public Library Literacy Program and the Little Falls Youth and Family Center Food Pantry, resulting in a total community impact of over $50,000 to date.
The 2025 ride continued to build on this legacy, with riders gathering to honor the Elks’ mission of community service. The event’s flyer, distributed by the CNY Elks Riders, highlighted the ride’s purpose and encouraged participation from both Elks members and motorcycle enthusiasts.
The route through Little Falls offered picturesque views of the Mohawk Valley, making it a highlight for participants.
Since its founding in 1886, Little Falls Elks Lodge #42 has donated over $1 million to the local community, with events like the ENF motorcycle ride playing a pivotal role in sustaining this commitment. The riders hope to match or exceed last year’s turnout as they continued to additional stops, fostering both community spirit and charitable impact.
