Bridge Closure Planned Along State Route 169 in the City of Little Falls

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the Theodore S Wind Bridge on State Route 169 in the City of Little Falls, Herkimer County, will be closed to traffic between State Route 5 and the Erie Canal Trailway Parking area to facilitate bridge deck resurfacing. The closure is expected to begin on Wednesday, August 12, at 7 a.m. and last for approximately 5 weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to follow a signed detour utilizing State Route 5S, State Route 167, Albany Street, South Ann Street, and State Route 5.

The Erie Canalway Trail Parking, Empire State Trail, and Erie Canalway Trail will remain open.
