After a rousing debut last fall, the Van Hornesville Community Corporation is pleased to welcome back Relative Harmony* in a free concert to support the restoration of its historic community center. Featuring an outstanding group of vocalists and musicians who’ve come together from three states, the band will give one performance at 4 pm on Sunday afternoon, April 26, in the Millpond Community Center in Van Hornesville, New York State Route 80.

From finger-pickin’ blues and swinging jazz to rocking country and sweet harmonies, Relative Harmony showcases the multiple talents of four artists: singer-songwriter-guitarist Charlie Young, a regular performer in Ithaca, NY; bassist Peter Young, who gigs with several Americana and blues bands in Santa Cruz, CA; singer-songwriter-guitarist Martin Fjeld; and jazz vocalist-percussionist Suzannah Young Ciernia, who both perform in Vermont.

Admission to the concert is free with refreshments served at intermission; however, the purpose of the evening’s entertainment is to raise money for the upkeep of the historic Millpond Community Center, so donations are welcome.

*The name reflects the fact that all four artists are descendants of Owen D. Young – upstate New York person of note.
