LITTLE FALLS, NY – The annual Member/Guest golf tournament took place this weekend at the Henry Pelzer Municipal Golf Course, bringing together local members and their guests for two days of friendly competition and camaraderie.
Despite hot and dry weather conditions typical of a New York summer, participants enjoyed the well-maintained greens and challenging course layout, making for an engaging event that highlights the community’s passion for golf.
Clubhouse representatives noted the high spirits among players, with many looking forward to this staple tournament year after year. “It’s always a highlight of the season, where friends and family come together to test their skills and enjoy the outdoors,” said one of the participants.
Nick Regan, clubhouse manager, stated, “Another outstanding weekend for the 24th annual member guest. This is always a really special and competitive event that teams circle on their calendar every year. With the dry weather, the course played incredibly difficult, requiring precise drives, careful approach shots, and touchy putts. A huge thank you to greenskeeper Marc Andrilla and his staff, David Reed, Ned Mowers, and Don Izzo, for the always immaculate conditions. We are already looking forward to doing it bigger and better for the 25th reunion next year!”
The winners were:
1st Andrew Drumm & Cody Petras
2nd Dan Pawluk & Andrew Pawluk
Tied for 3rd Nick Regan & Chad Golas
4th Butch Pedersen & Ross Johnson
5th Brett Marino & Colin Comstock
Photos from the event captured the enthusiasm of the golfers, from early morning tee-offs to the final putts, showcasing the vibrant atmosphere at one of Little Falls’ premier recreational spots.
