Herkimer, NY — The Mohawk Valley Economic Development District (MVEDD), in partnership with the six counties of the Mohawk Valley and “partners in grime” Lewis and Oswego Counties, will host the 5th Annual Mohawk Valley Brownfields Developer Summit on April 21 and 22, 2026, at Herkimer County Community College (100 Reservoir Road, Herkimer, NY).
The two-day event is designed to connect developers, investors, economic development professionals, and federal, state, and local government partners with ready-to-redevelop brownfield sites across the region. Brownfields — former industrial or commercial properties that may be contaminated or underutilized — offer major opportunities for job creation, tax-base expansion, infrastructure reuse, and community revitalization.
